I've had the opportunity to work as an IT Communications apprentice, collaborating with University information technology service staff to create a variety of digital and print materials, as well as assisting with documentation and technical writing.
One such task was to develop a team sign highlighting our goals and mission statement as a member of the IT communications staff. This sign is a reflection of not only the methodology of the department—creating excellent work with clear communication and clear goals—but also the visual language of the department as a whole, combining Ksu's signature black and yellow, with the department green, taking form through basic shapes and layouts.
Your IT Basics
Your It Basics is a UITS campaign created to inform and promote the miscellaneous resources UITS provides to students, faculty, and staff.
For this project, I led both the communication plan, shaping the overall language of the material for consumers, as well as the visual direction and branding of the project. THE visual identity of IT basics was designed to unify the preceding design aesthetics of both internal and external UITS materials into a more centralized identity that can be carried on into future materials.
Teams Calling
Print Materials
The Teams Calling transition was an enterprise-wide initiative to transfer the entire university staff of 2000+ from desk phones to Microsoft Teams Calling. Teams Calling is a feature that allows users to use their KSU phone number from computers, tablets, or smartphones, offering flexibility and portability for seamless communication anywhere on campus.
I created an array of print and digital media for KSU as the university transitioned its entire faculty and staff from traditional desk phones to Microsoft Teams calling throughout 2025.
